Crown Inn - Rhayader

The room we had was attractive and compact. Exceptionally comfortable beds, an electric kettle, central heating and multi-channel television were a nice touch. The location was prime, quite a walk from a ruined castle.

The Crown Inn is well located and is a great base for various activities. The room is small but with a comfortable bed.

The location in a pretty nice area was marvellous and there where a local supermarket and local supermarkets nearby.

The pub boasts a charming atmosphere with cute and friendly staff. My room was super cosy, equipped with all essentials, and the location made it easy to explore the area. The room showed signs of wear, and although my meal at the restaurant had good quality, the experience could be enhanced with a more varied menu. Still, the comfortable ambience and convenient parking were nice.

Had a lovely stay with a cozy atmosphere and delicious steak pie for dinner. It hit the spot after a long day exploring. The garden area offered a great spot to relax with a drink or enjoy some fresh air. The only small downside was that seating in the room could've been better, but overall, it was a wonderful experience. 🍻

Gorgeous spot with cozy interiors and cute staff. The meal served was great, cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The room I stayed in, whilenice and neat, showed signs of wear. It can be a bit noisy due to the pub atmosphere, especially with late-night conversations just outside. The lack of onsite breakfast is a minor inconvenience, as you have to walk to a nearby cafe.

I enjoyed a lovely meal with my partner and appreciated the cozy atmosphere during our short stay. There were great spots to kick back in the garden. A fire pit to relax around at night. The room was a bit snug for our taste, but we just made it work! 😄

Comfortable Stay with Great Staff

The room was tidy and equipped with good tea/coffee facilities. Dining options nearby were satisfactory, and the evening meal was quite good. Future guests should definitely check out the nearby café for breakfast.

Clean room, friendly vibes!

Stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed the place. Room was clean and comfy for one. I loved the tea and coffee. Staff were super friendly, even at check-in! Just a heads up, breakfast isn't included like it said online, kinda annoying. Still, great atmosphere in the bar area.

I had a fine stay at Crown Inn. The friendly locals made for an enjoyable atmosphere, and I loved the hearty meals offered. While noise levels were bothersome at times, the charming pub ambiance and warm staff helped create a nice experience.

The double room was super cozy with carpeted floors, a private bathroom with shower, and a TV. Linen and towels were ample. Free toiletries, an electric kettle, and a hairdryer added to the convenience. The heating kept the room warm. The pub had great home-cooked food and a lovely atmosphere. Plenty of character and vibrant vibes.

I really enjoyed the cozy atmosphere at the Crown Inn. The double room felt comfortable and the bed made for a good night's sleep. Staff friendliness stood out. They quickly. The location is fantastic for exploring the Elan Valley and local shops. Dinner was a pleasant surprise with a well-cooked meal that I thoroughly enjoyed. Noise from the bar area was a downside, especially late at night. It made it hard to unwind after a long day. I found the bathroom in the room could use some upgrades. It felt a bit worn down. Despite this, the entire vibe of the pub and the quality of food was enjoyable were nice.
